Easter Break!

I am at my big brother Jasons house down in Houston, Texas!  It has been such a refreshing and wonderful time!  We went to a drive in movie tonight and bowling... and have gone swimming and just relaxed.  Just what I needed because I am graduating in a few weeks from Christ for the Nations.  Wierd Stuff.  :)  So be praying for me, I have to make some big decisions!  Have a wonderful week!

So I decided that it was about time I update.. :)  First thing... Hello Grandpa! :)  I know you're reading this... I am doing great and miss you and Grandma lots! Have a wonderful winter, and enjoy the snow for me.  I am doing my best to behave down here in Texas. :)

Tonight was such a wonderful day!  Happy Birthday Miss Danielle.  Dani was my roommate my third semester at CFNI, yet has been my friend from the beginning.  She has not a sense of fairweatherness in her.  She is dedicated, real, compassionate, loving, kind, beautiful, pure, delicate, simple wonderful, merciful, and so tonight we just gave her a wonderful night to show her how much that we love her.  We told her to dress up, so we all dressed up, blind folded her and took her out to one of her favorite restaurants, then we blind folded her again got her coffee, then took her to see the best chick movie in the world (that guys need to see too if they want a chance at any decent girl) ;) haha Pride a Prejudice... wonderful movie!!!!!!!! *sigh* We were all crying by the end, a row of seven girls... sobbing, then we all got up and walked out of the theater with tears rolling down our faces, and laughing at each other, and in "dream land" all wanting to marry Mr. Darcy... haha.  It was picture perfect!!! Then to top it off there it was windy and cold out... so we go running towards the parking garage with the wind blowing our hair, and skirts, laughing, runnning in our heels. :)  It was priceless.  Coming back to school we were going to do facials but ran out of time because of curfew so we gave her a toast, (with sparkeling grape juice because it was the BIG 21!)  Then went around the room with 21 things that we love/admire/see/respect/ in her, and what she is type thing.  Then we all prayed over her.  It was such a night that I will never forget.  We love you so much Miss Dani.  You are such a great friend, you have helped me more than you know, the nights that you would hold me when I cried, and pray for me when I was down, the laughs, *____ fights* ;), picking out outfits, movies in McDonalds parking lots, reading at the park, *tanning out in the sun*, ect... you are priceless. :) I love you!

So there is my update.... it was a wonderful past two months.  I had some hard times... but had a time of refreshing when I went home, a wonderful time with my family who I love so dearly!  Ohio State won the Fiesta Bowl, and Texas won the Rose Bowl... so it was a great season!  (I am ticked out the colts losing to the steelers.. o well)

So I'm sitting here watching the play by plays to the Browns Vs. Steelers game, reading a book for school, eating chips, cheese and sweet tea, and thought... hmm... I haven't posted on Xanga for awhile, so here I am. :0) The only sad thing is the Browns are down 16-7 going into half time right now, so I'm a little bummed... but we'll come back in the 2nd half! YAY!

Craziness would be my word of the semester if I had to pick one.  We had the 40 days of prayer and fasting at my school with Cindy Jacobs, which lead to the last 10 days being a service every night for the 10 nights of miracles, which was great, but exhausting!  Then I had a womens conference at my church, the womens conference at school, then the worship conference was last week-end. This was my first week-end to breath in forever, which is wonderful! :0)  I'm on two worship teams at school, one in the mornings (Praise Band) and then I'm co-leading a student worship team which is stretching for me, but also a blast at the same time!  We're the Purple People Eaters  It's great!  :0) They have won my heart!  Then I have worship team at my church, but that hasn't been as time consuming as it was at the end of the semester. I think they have realized how busy we were because we did have lots of extra practices but  it wore us out a bit. So the less practices have been nice.  I go home in a little over a week, YAY! :0) I'm so excited and ready to get back!  I need a break for CFNI for a bit.  I have amazing roommates, Morgan I have become close too and she has been such a blessing. She cheers me up when I'm having a bad day. I always look forward to our special times in the closet where we lay down a blanket and sit there and talk about everything and eat ice cream! :0) She is wonderful!  Then my other booger of a roommate Dani brought be home flowers last night!!!  And she got me my favorite chips!  She is so thoughtful.  She is a dedicated friend if I have ever met one in my life.  I love her tons!  And last but not least the other one is Miss Jenna.  The quiet wise one.  She listens, and cares to what I say.  I came home two nights ago with exciting news and she is jumping up and down and gives me a big hug, she has won my heart!  I'm just amazed with how blessed I am with the roommates that God has given me for my last year of school here.  So yea, I'm rambling on and on.  But last but not least.... Miss Katie McDonald, my roommate of last semester, she is wonderful!  So consistent, always there.  She actually has a boyfriend now which is exciting because she has waited for so long... so I'm happy for her. And me and her still have are special times at the laundry mat! ;0) HAHA.  You don't know much about my roommates and friends so I just thought I would update you.  I sure wrote a lot. SO yup... Have an amazing and wonderful week. You're loved lots! If you ever need anything, you know I'm right now.

My computer is now back and running.  I've been in Texas since Aug. 17th and just got my internet working, my apartment for some reason took awhile, but it's back... yay! 

School has been great, I love all my classes.  I'm taking Christian Ethics (my favorite), Children's/Preteen Ministry, Real Youth Ministry, and Godly Parenting.  Then I'm doing music ministry which takes up most of my week.  (I'm on Praise Team, the morning band, and a student worship team for chapels. It's a blast, but lots of practice.)  It's really a better year classes wise though.  I've made some new friends which has been nice, and my three roommates Morgan, Dani, and Jenna are amazing women of God, I couldn't ask for better.  We all have our different strengths, and help each other when our day is poopy. :)  (Iron sharpens Iron) I've had a bit of a struggle with some stuff this past week, it's just where God is stretching me, and I'm emotionally and physically exhausted, so if you could be praying for me.  I know I need to persevere through it all, because then I'll be mature and completer not lacking anything(James 1).  That's my get through the day verse, that and "The joy of the Lord is my strength." 

Sorry, I'm just blabbing it's been forever since I've written in here.  I've gone to two Ranger games since coming back... playoffs are coming up.. and the Indians are in the lead for the wild card, and catching up on the White Sox for the central div! YAY!  It's been so exciting, I'm really looking forward to the playoffs, I have a lot of friends that are yankee fans. (don't ask why they're my friends though.) ;0) hehe. Well, I have a womens conference to go to this week-end.  So have a great and wonderful day.
